The Magnet Leisure Centre has been playing host to large weddings for up to 900 guests since 1992. We have four different companies to manage all aspects of your wedding. They will provide decorating, catering, waiting, security services and an event manager on the big day. Please see our Leisure Centres Wedding Venues web page for further details.
The Pearce Suite is an incredibly versatile conference, exhibition, entertainment and leisure facility. It can be used for various leisure pursuits such as badminton, short tennis, table tennis, judo and caporia but can also be hired out by external clients for events such as 1000 delegate conferences, dinner dances, product launches, exhibitions, car shows, 600 guest wedding receptions and rock concerts to name a few. Previous clients have included Nortel, SmithKline Beecham, Microsoft, Proctor and Gamble and British Telecom.

1). The Pearce Suite
A soft green room offering an opportunity for a number of colour co-ordinated styles.
Oval Tables seating 10 - 500 capacity
Rectangle Tables in rows - 600 capacity
Access to Pearce Suite:
Saturday - 8am-11pm
Sunday – 8am -11pm
Bank Holiday - 10am-5pm
2). The Main Hall
Oval Tables seating 10 - 800 capacity
Rectangle Tables in rows - 900 capacity
The main hall is only available on a limited number of weekends during the summer months.
Access to the Main Hall:
Saturdays - 8am-11pm
Sundays - 8am-11pm
Religious Services are permitted in both halls.
The chairs used are fabric style and padded. The straight tables are 6 foot long while the oval tables are 1.85m x 1.5m.
Disposable and non-disposable crockery and cutlery are permitted in both
halls.

Once the date has been confirmed please complete the on-line booking request form below - print, sign and return by post or hand to the Magnet Leisure Centre. All the companies highlighted hold the necessary £5 million public liability insurance, essential for anyone booking facilities at the Magnet Leisure Centre.

Where participation by children or young persons in any capacity, that is not supervised or controlled by their parents/guardians or Centre, the hirer must then be able to satisfactorily demonstrate they comply with the requirements of The Protection of Children Act 1999 and to such other conditions as the Centre may impose under the said requirements.
