Advantage Plus

The Royal Borough operates a number of concessionary priced facilities for residents only (yellow Advantage Card holders) at its Leisure Centres for a multitude of sections of the community.

Advantage PLUS prices:

Advantage PLUS prices are available to Advantage Card Holders who are on the following benefits:

• Council Tax Benefit
• Housing Benefit
• Job Seekers Allowance
• Income Support
• Working Tax Credit 
• Disability Benefit

You must bring in your Advantage Card and proof of receipt of benefit to the Leisure Centre - your Advantage Card will then be programmed for Advantage PLUS prices for a period of 3 months. After 3 months you will need to re-validate this by bringing in proof of benefit again.

Children under 5
Children under 5 swim FREE when accompanied by an adult during all public sessions.

Family Night
Any child over 5 swims FREE when accompanied by a paying adult. Every Friday 5pm - 8pm (Magnet Leisure Centre only)

Swimmobility
Disabled residents of the Royal Borough and their helpers receive FREE swimming at the Magnet Leisure Centre under this scheme (sponsored by the Maidenhead Advertiser) - register your membership at reception. 

Hoists are available on poolside for your use upon request for the pool and jacuzzi.

Swim for FREE!
Over 60s swim for FREE (Yellow Advantage Card holders).    

Monday - Friday 2pm-4pm
at Windsor Leisure Centre and The Magnet Leisure Centre

This offer ends March 2009.

Students
Advantage Card holders in full time education qualify for junior prices for the pool, badminton courts, aerobics and BodyZone at off peak times only. Please bring your NUS card as proof of student status.

WAMDSAD
Windsor and Maidenhead District Sports Association for the Disabled. This group meets every Sunday night from 8pm -10pm in the pool, sports hall and gym. Access is FREE to members of WAMDSAD and the pool is supervised by WAMDSAD volunteers. Telephone 01628 627690 for further details of membership to WAMDSAD.

THROB
The Heart Rehabilitation Organisation of Berkshire. Special circuit classes for members of this group are held every Monday from 8am - 9am. Please telephone Mike Wilkie on 01628 626095 for membership details. (By medical referrals only.)

Half Century Club
Anyone over the age of 50 may come along and enjoy swimming, short tennis, badminton, bowls and table tennis. Equipment and coaching is provided.

Sessions are held on Mondays and Wednesdays 10am -12noon (term time)
