We collect and make available, material relating to the Royal Borough of
Windsor and Maidenhead, and also Cliveden and Taplow Court. We have the longest
established collection in the Borough and trained professional staff to help
you. Most material is for use in the Library only but some may be borrowed.
Items may be reproduced, for a small charge, in accordance with copyright
regulations.
The major collections are in Maidenhead and Windsor Libraries, but all have relevant local books for the area. Maidenhead Library also has the Thames Collection of items relating to the River. Windsor Library has the Royal Collection, which has at least one book on each monarch and several on those with particular Windsor connections such as Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II.
We are partners in the ThamesPilot website that holds images and information about the Thames.
