telephone, or by emailing one of the libraries.

any further information you may have.
Reserve stock books are usually books which are in poor condition, but still of value to customers. They may be out of print so cannot be replaced. These books are kept in non public access areas. If you would like to borrow a Reserve Stock book, you can request it in the same way as you would an in stock item, either by placing a hold on the catalogue yourself using the link on the related links navigation.
Usual reservation charges apply, link here for current reservation charges. Reserve stock is held either at Maidenhead Library or Windsor Library, and this is indicated on the catalogue. If you happen to be in the branch where the book is held, just ask staff to retrieve it for you at no charge.
Please note that Reference and Local History Reserve stock books may only be used in the library and cannot be borrowed. If you would like to look at a Local Studies book kept in the locked cases at Maidenhead and Windsor libraries, just ask staff to retrieve them for you.
