Mobile Library

  • We have over 100 scheduled stops, most of which you can use
  • Books (regular & large print), talking books (CDs & tapes) for free
  • We visit residential homes, sheltered housing, selected roads
  • We can visit nurseries or primary schools, by prior arrangement
  • Steps can be converted to a lift for ease of access
  • Induction loops for the hearing-impaired
  • Enter your postcode to find your nearest stop. Click Search, select your address, then choose My Leisure and Culture in right hand menu to show Leisure Centres, Libraries and Mobile Library stops

Home Library Service

  • If you're house bound and unable to get to a library
  • We can arrange for books or audio books to be brought to you
  • Volunteers choose books and arrange a time to deliver them to you
  • Let us know if you or someone else, would benefit from this service
