Whether you need local, national or international information, or just need to confirm a few facts, all libraries have friendly knowledgeable staff who will be happy to help you.

If you are visiting in person, all libraries have:
- Quality books and other printed information
- Local and community information
- Encyclopaedias, directories and dictionaries
- Maps and atlases
- Newspapers and magazines
- Public PCs with free Internet services
- Our Public PCs also have access to databases and online resources that we subscribe to. They cover family history, starting a business, online newsapaper, homework resources, art & muisc, computers, social issues and biographies. Visit our e-Library webpage for further information. With the exception of ANCESTRY - covering family history and European Sources Online, other database are also available at home via the Internet

Maidenhead library has a dedicated tourist information centre where you can find out about transport and accomodation.
