Festival of Crime Writing Events

We introduce you to some of the best crime writers in the UK today; from Lindsey Davis to Peter James, cosy crime to gritty urban serial killers, we have authors for all tastes.

Over the next two months, these authors will flock to the Royal Borough to bring you the best of comtemporary crime writing.

Peter James - Best Selling author and winner of Best Crime Novel 2011

His novels have been translated into 34 languages, selling over 11 million copies; they include the Sunday Times no.1 Roy Grace series. Peter is chair ofthe Crime Writers Associations and won the People's Choice Dagger for Best Crime Novel of the year 2011.

Cosy Crime & Afternoon Tea

In 1936, Dorothy L Sayers abandoned the last Lord Peter Wimsey detective story. Sixty years later the manuscript was rediscovered and award-winning novelist Jill Paton Walsh was commissioned to complete it.
