Guidance on Child Protection Policy is available below.  A Child Protection Policy is necessary where an application to run a leisure, recreational or sporting activity or club using the Leisure Centres facilities includes children and/or young persons. Where participation by children or young persons in any capacity, that is not supervised or controlled by their parents/guardians or Centre, the hirer must then be able to satisfactorily demonstrate they comply with the requirements of The Protection of Children Act 1999 and to such other conditions as the Centre may impose under the said requirements.
