Facilities Hire (4 Marlow Road)
The Centre is available for conferences and meetings from 10 to 200 people for parties, sales and events.

The facility includes:
- a sports hall
- 2 dance studio's
- 2 conference meeting rooms
- Youth Club area - pool table, TV, video games and dance mats, arts & crafts room, theatre, drink and snack machine, table top games.
- Youth Club activities - DJ classes (through East Berkshire College Community Programme), football, short tennis, discos, drumming workshops, outdoor pursuits (canoeing, climbing etc), discussions, information and advice.

In addition the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), Relate Relationship Counselling, No22 Counselling Service, Rethink and Shaw Trust are also based at 4 Marlow Road.

Community Facilities Areas Rules & Regulations:
All customers entering the premises are obliged to abide by the rules and regulations as displayed within the reception area and on the booking form. In addition a number of specific rules are strategically placed around the facility to ensure the highest level of health and safety for employees and customers.
- Any customers who do not abide by the centre's rules may be asked to leave the premises and at the discretion of the facility supervisor who may incur a formal ban.
- The Recreation Officer will brief all visitors who are engaged in contract maintenance work and issue a permit to work.
- These person(s) must complete a Permit-to work and sign it prior to any work activities commencing. Permits must be carried by contractors at all times and will be inspected by staff periodically. Permits must be signed off before visitors (contractors) leave the premises.
- All customers must behave with due care and attention to other users.
- Behaviour that contravenes rules will be dealt with by Police, or a ban.
- The consumption of alcohol is prohibited on the premises by deed of covenant.
- All bans will be sent in the name of the Borough Secretary and administered from the Town Hall on the written recommendation of the facility Manager.
- Smoking is prohibited.
- Customers must abide by all the terms and conditions of hire on the reverse of the booking form.
- No threatening behaviour towards staff or customers will be tolerated.
- We will display CCTV images to assist Police in administration of justice- According to the CCTV image protocol.
- Public meetings can be booked in the facility meeting rooms at a commercial rate in a non-discriminatory manner. Any group may hire a suitable venue so long as the meeting is conducted in a manner sensitive to other users.
- Failure to disclose the true nature of a meeting will incur instant cancellation of the meeting, which should be done in writing after consultation with senior officers of the authority.
- Council reserves the right of admission at all times.
- Meetings of a political or sensitive nature will be confirmed after a review by Cabinet Lead Member and Senior Officers of the authority.
