Park Rangers

Our Rangers are part of the Boroughs Leisure Services Unit and are based at Braywick Nature Centre in Maidenhead.

The Rangers are committed to promoting awareness of the natural environment and to maintaining and enhancing the nature conservation interest of the area.

The Rangers:

  • Run a programme of events, activities and walks across the borough
  • Offer environmental education sessions for school, youth and other groups
  • Run holiday activities for children
  • Monitor the Boroughs nature reserves and wildlife areas and organise practical tasks
  • Provide advice and information about wildlife and conservation issues
  • Offer a range of opportunites for volunteer involvement
