Park Rangers

Our Rangers are part of the Boroughs Leisure Services Unit and are based at Braywick Nature Centre in Maidenhead.

The Rangers:

Run a programme of events, activities and walks across the borough
Offer environmental education sessions for school, youth and other groups
Run holiday activities for children
Monitor the Boroughs nature reserves and wildlife areas and organise practical tasks
Offer a range of opportunites for volunteer involvement

Braywick Nature Centre

The Nature Centre houses displays and exhibitions on wildlife, sustainability and local history.

Nature Reserves

Arthur Jacob Nature Reserve, Braywick Park, The Gullet, Hemwood Dell, Ockwells Park and Sutherland Grange. Other areas of interest are Trinity Wildlife area & Allens Field.
