

Ockwells Park is approximately 44 acres of open space, just south of Maidenhead in Cox Green. Two trails are illustrated in this leaflet, allowing visitors to explore the different habitats around the park.
This leaflet describes six sites in the Royal Borough that are managed to protect and enhance their natural value. The sites range in size and location from small local woodlands to larger parks and open spaces. Some of the sites are also used for other recreational activities. The leaflet gives information on their location, the habitats and wildlife present, and any facilities present.

This trail takes you around a Local Nature Reserve as well as other features in the Park.
Many interesting trees grow within the grounds of Braywick Park. Some of them were planted to decorate the gardens of Braywick Lodge, a large house which used to stand where the car park is today. These trees were introduced from different countries around the world over many hundreds of years. This leaflet describes a short walk around part of the park and gives information on 12 species of tree that you can find there.
