Local Housing Register

Housing Register Consultation

We are consulting local people on changes to our Housing Register. We would like to hear from you if you have an interest in how the local authority allocates available social housing. We strongly encourage you to respond to the consultation, particularly if:

  • you are a resident of RBWM
  • you are on the Housing Register
  • you are a representative of a Housing Association or one of its tenants
  • or you are a Private Landlord

Please read the introduction document below completing the questionnaire.

Closing date for this consultation is Thursday 27th December 2012.

The Local Housing Register is managed by the Council in partnership with Housing Associations, who provide affordable housing within the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. This means that applicants only have to complete one form in order to gain access to all of the Associations who work within the Royal Borough. The Register provides each participating organisation with a list of applications for housing which are then assessed for need through their respective points system.

Anyone can register on the Local Housing Register but you will receive less points than somebody on the Statutory Housing Register as you will not have a local connection.

For information on the Local Housing Register please contact the Housing Options Team on 01628 683685 or e-mail your enquiry to housing@rbwm.gov.uk
