If you believe that the Council has not responded to your information request appropriately, you can use the Council's Corporate Complaints Procedure.

If you are still not satisfied with how your request was dealt with, you may then contact the Information Commissioner's Office.

The Information Commissioner is independent and reports directly to Parliament. His role is to ensure public authorities are complying with their obligations and to generate and improve public awareness of information rights.

He will expect you to have exhausted our complaints procedure before he considers your complaint himself.
