Electoral Registration and Voting: Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get someone removed from the Electoral Register, because they are no longer here?
Every Autumn, when the Voter Registration forms are delivered, anyone no longer resident can be deleted. Additionally if someone moves and re-registers to vote at their new property, we can remove their name from the old address. If someone in the property dies we require either written confirmation, with a copy of the death certificate or for the elector's name to be included on the monthly list of deceased, which is sent by the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages, before we can remove the name.
