The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead has set up its own Noiseline in order to provide a more realistic database for the levels of disturbance caused to local residents by overflying aircraft. Many local residents do not think that much can be done by the Royal Borough regarding noise disturbance by aircraft. This is not so as the Royal Borough is committed to improving the quality of life for its residents by making representations on their behalf to various government departments and aviation authorities.
The Noiseline is a dedicated 24 hour answerphone complaint service which you can use to lodge your complaints about noise and disturbance from aircraft only. Any other noise issues please telephone 01628 683830.
If you prefer to complete the online Noiseline Form then please do.
The other alternative is to bombard the Heathrow Airport Noise Line which is free of charge on 0800 344 844 where specialised trained staff will do all they can to investigate whether an aircraft has broken the rules and, if possible, try to prevent it happening again. There is a quota of night flights that is permissible.
Your complaint is a valuable contribution towards monitoring the effects of
aircraft noise on the local community.
