Licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO)

Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) Licensing was introduced under the Housing Act 2004 with an implementation date of 6th April 2006.  This is a major new piece of legislation requiring landlords of certain HMO's to obtain a licence and to manage the premises within conditions specified on that licence:-
