Home Repair Assistance Grants
Home Repair Assistance Grants are for a maximum of £5,000 to help promote warm, safe, secure homes suitable for the occupiers to live in. An applicant must be an owner-occupier or private tenant and have a power or duty to carry out the works.
Private Sector Housing Renewal Policy
Priority is given as follows:
- aged 60 or over and on an income-related benefit for example
- income support
- guarantee pension credit
- housing benefit
- council tax benefit
- income based job seekers allowance
- disabled persons tax credit
