Social Activities and Workshops for Pupils

The Sensory Consortium Service run a range of activities for children and young people with sensory impairment to share experiences, learn new skills, grow in confidence and have fun. Some of these activities are run in partnership with other organisations and voluntary groups.

Pottery Session for Years 1-9. Open to Sensory Consortium Service pupils (East and West Berkshire): 24th March 2012 at Leapfrog Pottery, Wyevale Garden Centre, Bath Road, Thatcham RG18 3AN. Contact: sue.gabain@rbwm.gov.uk. We are grateful to Reading Deaf Children's Society for subsidising the costs of this event.
Lambing Day for Years 1-9. This is a joint SCS and RDCS event and is open to both: 10th March 2012. At Rushall Farm near Bradfield. Contact: sue.gabain@rbwm.gov.uk.
