School Meals Service

From September 2005, the Borough awarded a Schools' Catering Services Contract for a three plus two years contract to Harrison Catering Services Limited. The borough work in partnership with Harrison's to ensure that pupils and staff receive a healthy and wholesome two course school lunch.

The school lunch consists of a hot main meal with a vegetarian option, a choice of two vegetables or salad, a carbohydrate item and a dessert of which fresh fruit is a daily option. Chilled, drinking water is available free of charge in the dining rooms. For more details please see the Menu Development Criteria page to see the current menus.

In addition to the school lunch, Harrison's also provide a breakfast and break service for those schools who wish to extend their services to pupils and staff.
