Free School Meals

Free School Meals are provided to pupils of The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Schools whose parents/carers are in receipt of the following qualifying benefits:

  • Income Support (IS)
  • Income Based Jobseekers Allowance (IBJSA)
  • Support under part VI of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1999
  • Child Tax Credit only, and whose annual income (as assessed by the Inland Revenue) does not exceed the threshold set by the Treasury.
  • Those parents/guardians receiving Working Tax Credit are not eligible for free school meals
  • Guaranteed element of State Pension Credit.
  • an income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

Please note: Your free school meal entitlement will commence from the date your form is received and verified by the school.
