Online School Admissions - Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions regarding Online Admissions. If you cannot find the answer to your question, please contact the Admissions Team.

The Unique Identifier or UID is made up of 14 automatically generated numbers and letters and is used to identify a specific application within Admissions and Transfers Online. If your child has been issued with a UID you will be able to find it on the letter enclosed with your admission pack.

As an additional check, we will also ask for your child's date of birth. (This ensures that only you are able to access the application form.)

If you have more than one child transferring to another school, you will receive a UID for each child.

Please note: the UID is case sensitive and therefore needs to be filled in in upper case (capitals). Please be aware that this UID may include the letter 'O' or the number '0' (zero). If your UID does not seem to work when you enter it, please check whether you have an 'O' or '0' in your UID number that has been entered incorrectly.

If your child has not been issued with a UID it is still possible to apply for a school place online. Simply click on the 'No UID' button and follow the instructions.
