School Admissions: Frequently Asked Questions

Home to school transport is available only in very limited circumstances. These are explained in the Borough's policy document Home to School and Home to College Transport. In general, we will not provide home to school transport where there is a suitable school with a vacancy within the statutory walking distance from your home. If there is no such school, we will provide transport only to the next nearest suitable school with a vacancy. These schools may be within or beyond the borough's boundary, and they may not be the same as your preferred schools. For more details, please cal 01628 796666.
