Planning Portal

You can access the Planning Portal here.

Applicants may use the portal to submit applications using the official 1APP application form. Applicants can attach maps, plans and diagrams to their application and submit them online too. We are also able to accept online payment of application fees using a range of credit cards. Its quick, easy and you don't have to come to the Town Hall in the rain to deliver your application. The Portal will assist in preparing your application, determine what you need to include and calculate the fee for you.

We would ask that when submitting plans that applicants either include a scale showing the unit size or at least one measured dimension on each drawing to ensure that the Development Control staff can take accurate measurements.

The Planning Portal is a website, operated by the Department for Communities and Local Government, which offers advice, easy-to-use tools and online services to help the general public and planning professionals. For researchers and professional planners there are thousands of pages of information on on Planning Law, appeals and research. The portal also operates the Planning Casework Service which handles Planning Appeals and allows applicants to track and comment on appeals online.
