As part of deciding a planning application it is important to get the views of anyone who may be affected by the proposed works. In nearly all cases we will consult with neighbours where works are taking place. For certain larger developments we may hold a formal consultation and also obtain opinions from a number of statutory agencies to ensure that the works are acceptable to all involved.
If you have received a neighbour's notification letter, or are in any way affected by a development, you are free to write in with your comments. You may also email us at planning.maidenhead@rbwm.gov.uk or submit a comment using the comments form in the Planning Public Access module. You can do this by searching for the relevant application and then click the Add Comment button on the Application Details bar to open a form where your comments can be entered.
When making a comment it will help us if you will give us your name and a method of contacting you. Anonymous objections may not be taken into consideration. You should be careful to confine objections to planning matters only, as your objection will be included in the scanned papers relating to the application and will be visible to anyone reading the file either online or at our offices. Of course you can use these contact methods to indicate approval or give support to a development as well.
