Badnells Pit / St Mary's Development Frequently Asked Questions

For most of the time, no, as the Secretary of State accepted that disturbance to residents would not be so harmful. However, whilst a wall is being constructed and piling installed (probably January - February 2010) there will be some days where some residents will be entitled to alternative accommodation paid for by the developer.

The developer will write to any residents who may be entitled to this accommodation with at least three days notice of the works. If you receive a letter about this and you work from home, work nights (and therefore sleep during the day), are aged 65 years older, registered disabled, are caring for more than one child under the age of five, or are bed bound or seriously ill and you intend to be at home on those days you will be offered alternative accommodation.
