Council Tax Bills are payable by monthly instalments, however, this is conditional upon each instalment being paid by the due date shown on the Council Tax Bill. Failure to do so will result in recovery action being taken. The right to pay by instalments may be withdrawn and the full balance may become payable immediately.
If you have not paid your Council Tax by Direct Debit in the past, why not start now. Print off a Direct Debit form. Complete the form and return it to the Council Tax Unit, RBWM, Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 1RF.
Alternatively, contact the Council Tax Unit for a Direct Debit Instruction, by e-mail council.tax@rbwm.gov.uk or telephone 01628 683850.
If you have a debit card you can make regular or one-off payments without leaving home or paying any charges, 24 hours a day by using the online payments service.
Payment may be made at the Post Office, using the Plastic Payment Card. Cheques must be made payable to 'Post Office Counters Ltd'. Please allow 5 days working days for this payment to reach the Council.
Payment can be made using the Plastic Payment Card wherever you see the Allpay or E-pay sign. Many of these are open outside standard post office hours e.g. shops, petrol stations etc.
