There is a Transitional Relief Scheme to help phase in large increases over the five year lifetime of the current Rating List. The maximum amount payable will be the last year's rate charge, plus inflation plus the limited increase (12.5% for large properties ie those with RV over £15,000 and 5% for small properties).
