The Council has developed a Residents' Panel of around 1800 members. These have been recruited through, 'Around the Royal Borough', the Household Survey and some have come forward on an individual basis, offering to join.

Quality of Life (2003)
The primary aim of the research was to establish how residents feel about crime, safety and anti-social behaviour in their local area, and also to verify awareness and perceptions of the Local Strategic Partnership.
Health and Social Services (2002)
This covered issues such as satisfaction levels, awareness of services and information, healthcare concerns, age and other discrimination etc.
Information and Administration (2002)
Issues such as contact with the Council, opening hours, centralisation and e-government were included in this survey
Education and Lifelong Learning (2001)
Areas such as Libraries, Schools, School Transport, the Centre for Developing Connections and Community Development Projects were considered in this survey.
Environmental Health (2001)
This explored various issues, including Waste and Recycling, Environmental Health, Planning and Police Services.
