Redevelopment of Kings Triangle, Maidenhead - Public Consultation

Proposals for the redevelopment of a key part of Maidenhead town centre have been unveiled by ING Real Estate Development.

Kings Triangle Maidenhead - sketch of streetSubject to planning permission, the area between Queen Street and King Street will be transformed into Kings Triangle, a new mixed-use, high-quality shopping destination in the heart of Maidenhead.

The developer is working closely with the Council on the proposals. Plans would see the creation of a new network of pedestrian-friendly shopping streets with high quality new shops designed to attract big name retailers as well as smaller shops and boutiques. The development will include new cafes and restaurants, creating a vibrant atmosphere during the day and into the evenings.

Planned pedestrian links will make it easier to access High Street, Nicholsons Shopping Centre and New Market. ING is already in advanced discussions with potential occupiers of the big name store.

New homes and potential new office space at Kings Triangle will bring new life into the area and encourage employers to bring more jobs to Maidenhead.
