Big Society Days

Big Society Day - Saturday 4 December 2010

The Royal Borough held its first Big Society Day at Desborough School, Maidenhead on Saturday 4 December 2010. This gave local community and voluntary organisations the opportunity to show what Big Society activities are already happening in our community. More than 30 groups and over 250 residents enjoyed the informal atmosphere of the day. Ideas and discussion about the Council's own Big Society projects provided valuable information, and by the end of the day feedback showed that understanding of the Big Society had grown.

Big Society Day - Saturday 26 March 2011

The second Big Society Day was held on Saturday 26 March 2011 at Windsor Girls School, Windsor. This event gave residents the opportunity to find out how the Council's Big Society projects were progressing and for them to have their say.
