Parent and Toddler Groups

Parent and Toddler groups are informal, unregistered, part-time self help groups of parents and carers that meet locally with their children on a regular basis. Toddler groups cater for children 0 to 5 years old, go to the Childcarelink website, to find groups in your area or contact us.

Holiday Activities

There are many clubs and activity centres in the Borough who can provide care for children age 3 to 16 during the school holidays. Generally they are open from 8 30 to 5.30 but some operate for shorter hours. Activities can include coaching in football, judo and yoga and children can do a number of craft activities. The children are generally expected to take a pack lunch if they are there for the majority of the day. Please check directly with the provider. Ensure you check that they are registered with Ofsted and that all staff are CRB checked. Many will give discounts for more than one child and early bookings.

Hobbies and Sport

Hobbies lead to new friends, they reveal hidden talents and develop skills that could become a real advantage one day. Signing up for clubs after school gives your child a chance to shine outside the classroom.
