Cemeteries and Burials

All Saints, MaidenheadWindsorOakley Green, Windsor

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead manages and maintains four Cemeteries. When a death occurs you should contact a Funeral Director who will be able to offer a comprehensive service. This page and related links on the right gives information and advice from the Cemeteries Service.

The Cemeteries the Borough are responsible for are:

The Borough does not have a crematorium but cremated remains may be interred in a cremation plot, existing grave (please check with your Funeral Director or the Cemetery Office), in the Gardens of Remembrance or in the Columbarium at Oakley Green.

Burials/Full interments

Are only allowed within Braywick and Oakley Green Cemeteries, unless you already own or have a reserved grave in Windsor or All Saints Cemeteries.


Cremated remains

May be interred at Braywick and Windsor in a cremation plot or the Gardens of Remembrance. At Oakley Green they may be interred in a cremation plot, the Gardens of Remembrance or the Columbarium. At All Saints Cemetery you may inter cremated remains only if you already own or have a reserved grave/plot.


Opening Times:

Every day of the year including ALL public holidays - 8am until half an hour after sunset or 4.30pm whichever is the later.


The Royal Borough's booklet "Guide to Interments" is now available and copies are available through the Cemetery Office, The Registrar's Office, local libraries, CAB or from local Funeral Directors.
