Death and bereavement are natural - they happen to us all. As well as help from a funeral director and family you may feel you need to talk with, or require the support of, someone sympathetic who has been through a similar experience. Below are several organisations that can offer this support or help with bereavement. The opportunity to share some of these feelings and emotions with someone who can understand and accept them can be an immense comfort and relief.

WAY Foundation
Finding a WAY forward for the widowed and young
WAY offers support and friendship to young bereaved people, whatever their
circumstances, however long ago their partner died. We help men and women up to
the age of 50, parents and those without children.
We aim to provide a social and support network to help young widows and
widowers rebuild their lives after they've been shattered by the death of a
partner. Members' children are an important part of the organisation and we
welcome them too.
