Braywick Watch Group is a local environmental youth club for children aged 7-12 years, based at Braywick Nature Centre. This is one of several watch groups run across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, linked to BBOWT, the local wildlife trust.
The group is run by Countryside Service staff and registered Watch Leaders, and meets once a month (except August), usually on Sunday afternoons. Activities include wildlife surveys, practical conservation tasks, and visits to nature reserves and environmental centres.
Our monthly meetings are open to Braywick Watch Group members only and there is a waiting list for children wishing to join the group. Waiting times for joining our group vary, but we are also able to offer advice to those interested in starting up new Watch Groups in the local area. We also welcome new volunteer helpers to our group.
For advice or information about volunteering, starting a new local Watch Group, or to place your child on Braywick Watch Group's waiting list, please contact the Countryside Rangers.
