Braywick Nature Centre Events

We run a range of events and activities at the Nature Centre and at open spaces, nature reserves and other venues across the Borough. These range from nature walks to holiday activities for children.

Braywick Park's Garden History and Nature Walk!

Venue: Braywick Nature Centre, Maidenhead

A short stroll around Braywick Park with Senior Countryside Ranger Trevor Smith looking at some of the history of the orginal garden and the current natural history today.

Discover the amazing diversity of life in Braywick's wildlife pond on an afternoon of pond dipping with the Rangers.

Falconry Day at Braywick Park!

Venue: Braywick Park
Date: Saturday 15th August
Time: 11am - 4pm (Falconry demonstrations at 12 noon and 2.30pm)

Falconry is an ancient sport using trained birds of prey to hunt. Come to Braywick Park and see these magnificent birds of prey demonstrate their astounding flying skills!

General Information

  • Consent forms for children's events must be completed prior to event.
  • Unless otherwise stated events at the nature centre are unsuitable for children under 6 years
  • No refunds will be made for cancellations less than 48hrs prior to the start of the event, where payment is for less than £10 and unless the place(s) are resold.  All refunds are subject to a £5 administration charge.
