Braywick Environmental Education for Schools

Over 2,000 school children visit Braywick each year to do a range of environmental study activities across the curriculum, from Key Stage 1 pupils to A level students.  Sessions range in length from 1 hour to a full day, depending on the topics studied.

Teachers can choose from half-day or full-day Ranger-led activities from the list below (click on the related links for more information about each activity).  Sessions can be tailored to the particular needs of your class; please feel free to contact us at Braywick to discuss this.

Schools may also book the Nature Centre to use as a base for self-led study sessions, with field equipment and identification guides available for use in Braywick Park.

If your class is making a full-day visit to Braywick you will also receive information on bringing environmentally-friendly packed lunches.  At the bottom of this page you will see our How To Save Planet Earth With Your Packed Lunch Leaflet available for you to download.
