Works carried out without an application?
REGULARISATION CERTIFICATES - I forgot to get Building Regulation
permission
If a situation becomes apparent that work has been previously carried out
without an application, the owner of the property may be able
to apply for a Regularisation Certificate. This process is
referred to as a Regularisation Application. The work may have been done by you
or by a previous owner of the property. From the 1st October 1994, the Building
Regulations were revised to allow for the regularisation of building work. The
completed works will however need to have been undertaken since 11th
November 1985. We have produced a Customer Guide to explain the
process. This is available to download at the bottom of the page.
