The Professional Team consists of:

Roger Paine, Building Control Consultancy Manager, available on 01628 796880, to discuss in strict confidence the level of service we are able to offer you and any other service related issues.

The Royal Borough's Building Control Consultancy is divided into two area teams of four Building Control Consultants. Each team is managed by an Area Building Control Manager.

Technical Support

The Technical Support Team provides general help and advice on the following :-

• Advice about whether you need Building Regulation approval
• Requests for application forms
• Questions about charges
• How to complete application forms
• Site inspection requests
• Enquiries from Solicitors envolved in property transactions

Please note our office hours are 8.45am to 5.15pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4.45pm on Friday. Although our ansaphone service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to allow site inspection requests to be made at any convenient time.

All enquiries are dealt with as comprehensively as possible within our specified service standards. As a fairness to all our customers and in acknowledgement of the large volume and varied nature of the enquiries we receive, responses to email enquiries are dealt within our service standard of 10 working days from receipt of the enquiry.
