Access Statements are required to show how proposed building works comply with the Building Regulations Their importance is shown by the need for their submission at the planning permission stage of the design process. Any person undertaking electrical works are required to be competent, our Part P guidance will help you to choose the right contractor and explain the alternative procedures available to you.

Recent changes to the thermal requirements of the Building Regulations requires any replacement boiler to meet certain minimum standards. As part of the process for the selection of the boiler, the installer will need to undertake a site assessment. This is required to be recorded on an assessment form.
