Where your proposed project falls outside these tables an individually determined charge will be calculated. Also if you are carrying multiple extensions and/or multiple types of alterations wemay be able to reduce the above standard chargdes where the works are carried out at the same time. To use the Calculator please type in the total proposed floor area of your proposed extension (in metres) and then either press return on your keyboard, or click the calculate button.
Please note that the total floor area is calculated by reference to the internal faces of the walls enclosing the newly formed extension area, or if at any point there is no enclosing wall, by reference to the outermost edge of the floor.

Electrical Note: An additional charge of £300 (inclusive of VAT) will apply where any notifiable electrical work is carried out NOT using an appropriately qualified/Part P registered electrician.
