Electronic Application Process

Alternatively, our electronic application service is available if you are able to submit your drawings electronically. This includes on-line application forms to complete and submit your application electronically. Our Submit A Plan web page will explain this process including making your payment, this can be easily accessed from our Related Links list opposite.

Alternatively, Building Control information can also be obtained from the Council's Customer Service Centres in Maidenhead at the Town Hall in St Ives Road, and in Windsor at the Council offices in York House, located in Sheet Street.

Insight, Onsite is the name for our Building Control Consultancy newsletter to inform all of our customers of new initiatives and developments in our service.

Scheme of Charges 2008

Charges may be paid by either debit/credit cards, cash or cheques, made payable to RBWM. Our Charges web page explains how you may make these payments. Please find below our Scheme of Charges which are applicable to applications submitted from 1st April 2008.

Our Application Forms

All of our application forms are available to download and complete.

If you are intending to undertake electrical works you will need to complete the form below.
If you wish to submit detailed plans to obtain approval for your proposed works, you will need to complete the following form.
If you are undertaking a simple alteration to your house, you will need to complete the application form below.
If you are wishing to obtain consent for works that were previously undertaken to your property, you will need to  complete the following application form.
If you are proposing to install replacement windows and the contractor is not registered under one of the Government's Competent Persons Schemes, you will need to complete the following form.
If you would like confirmation that the proposed work is exempt from the requirement to submit an application. please use the following form.
If you are intending to demolish an existing building, you will need to complete and submit the following form. Alternatively our On-line Forms web page allows you to complete and submit it on-line.
