Ascot Racecourse Entrance
Entrance through the main gates at the racecourse.
This picture show the canterlevered wave roof structure being held aloft by steel "branches" to create the Architects vision of a tree canopy effect at high level. It also shows the external staircases, which are wrapped with woven steel mesh. The attractive vista is completed by the creation of a new improved parade ring allowing unrestricted views of the winner presentations and improved crowd circulation.
