The £200 million pound Ascot Racecourse redevelopment programme comprising of a unique grandstand, parade ring and refurbished listed buildings created one of the best racecourses in the world.
The redevelopment programme was completed within 18 months from the demolition work beginning in September 2004 to its completion in time, ready for Royal Ascot in June 2006.
The Royal Borough's Building Control Consultancy were the chosen Building Control Body for the redevelopment. As an integral element of the design team, it was responsible for this unique and prestigious development.

The racecourse has been realigned to allow the re-siting of the new grandstand by approx 20m This allowed for the construction of the new parade ring and improved crowd circulation routes on the front elevation facing Ascot High Street. The new seven storey grandstand is approximately half a mile long, and is dominated by a vast atrium running along its length in the centre of the building.
