Audit: Frequently Asked Questions
What Council services and activities are Audited?
All council services and activities can be subject to an Audit.
The Strategic Audit Plan will include all Town Hall services to
the public, the operation of Leisure Centres, Schools, Care
Homes and Day Centres. We also carry out planned reviews of
operations within each Directorate such as Highways
Maintenance, Council Tax and Car Parking as well as Core
Financial areas such as Budgetary Control and Payroll.
