Allotments

The popularity of allotments has increased dramatically over the past few years and ALL sites now have waiting lists.

In Maidenhead all sites have a waiting list - the average waiting time is between 5 - 7 years. Plots are available to Borough Residents ONLY.

If you wish to be added to the waiting list please contact the Outdoor Facilities Team on 01628 796469 or 01628 796482 or send an email to Outdoor.facilities@rbwm.gov.uk. Alternatively, there is a Maidenhead Garden Share Scheme run by Transition Town Maidenhead. Visit their website or download the poster below. The service aims to match up garden owners who have an unused corners of their garden with local commited growers.

Allotments in Windsor (for Windsor Residents ONLY) also have a waiting list and are managed by: Windsor Allotments and Home Gardens Association who can be contacted via their web site www.wahga.org.uk/ or telephone 01753 620243.

Parish Councils also manage sites within their areas see related link giving details to Parish Councils. Many of the Parishes also now have waiting lists - the Clerk to the Parish will be able to advise on availability within each Parish.

Windsor Allotment and Home Garden Association operate trading sheds for the sale of various garden and allotment products including composts, fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides and sundry supplies all at competitive prices. For enquiries regarding membership (which is NOT restricted to having a plot in Windsor) The Association can be contacted via their web site www.wahga.org.uk/ or telephone 01753 620243.

Open: Sundays between 8am and 12 noon
Thursdays between 8am and 11am

Gardeners Hall, St Leonards Road, SL4 3DR
Open: Sundays between 10.15am and 12.15pm
Thursdays between 2.30pm and 3.30pm
