The Royal Borough's community safety partnership is reminding residents that there's still time to nominate their community safety hero or heroine.
Cllr Phill Bicknell, Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Environment, said: "We have received a good number of nominations, but we know there are more people who deserve to be put forward for an award.
"The awards are a public way to thank the many exceptional people who give their time to make the Royal Borough safer. So, put on your thinking caps and get those nominations in!"

The closing date is Friday 12 August. The winners will be announced at the Volunteer of the Year Awards on Thursday 6 October. The winner in each category will receive an engraved glass trophy and certificate and the runner-up a certificate.
