Magnet Early Birds - Parents - We offer an early drop-off from 8am in the morning for an extra £3.60 payable on the day. This will be a supervised period providing activities such as puzzles, word searches and videos. No energetic activities will be provided during this time. Please note there is no late pick up facility. Please see notes below for further information.

Magnet Leisure Centre

Bowling and bouncy castle assault course

Dates: Fridays 9th & 16th April 2010

Get bowled over at tenpin bowling alley as we visit our neighbours for some skittling fun! Over 8s bring your swim kit for a dip in the pool. The afternoon sees us having relays and playing games on the assault course castle.

Cinema Day

Dates: Tuesdays 6th & 13th April 2010

It's a fantastic film day with the Magnet! Take a trip to the cinema for popcorn and goodies and watch a film. Then come back to the Magnet for bouncy castle and games. Over 8s bring your swim kit for a dip in the pool.

FunZone

Dates: Wednesday 7th, Monday 12th & Wednesday 14th April 2010

You won't want to miss out on these mornings full of arts & crafts, soft play, bouncy castle, team games, trampolining, basketball, badminton/short tennis and lots more. For under 8s swimming is available from 11.30am if your parent or carer goes into the pool with you. If you don't swim the fun carries on til 12noon. For over 8s you will get to go swimming during the session on Monday and Wednesday.
Price: *£6.20/£7.30 (book to guarantee your place or just turn up on the day).
Time: 9am-12noon

Lazer & It's a Knockout

Dates: Wednesdays 7th & 14th April 2010

Come and join us at the Magnet for our own version of It's a Knockout! In teams you will need to use your brains and brawn to do battle against your fellow teams and gain points along the way! Then challenge your shooting accuracy at Tenpin's Lazer Quest. Over 8s bring your swim kit for a dip in the pool.

Roller Disco, cheeky charlies and funzone

Date: Monday 12th April 2010

In the morning challenge the thrills and spills of cheeky charlies, then back into the hall for our roller disco. Then its a funzone afternoon full of arts & crafts, soft play, bouncy castle, team games, trampolining, basketball, badminton/short tennis and lots more.

Sports, arts & karts

Dates: Thursdays 1st, 8th & 15th April 2010

It's sports galore! Hockey, cricket, rounders, football and basketball. Try your luck at these sports and show us your skills, you'll also get your chance to show us your creative side with our arts & crafts. In the afternoon get the chance to improve your driving skills with go-karting fun. Plus we'll have an inflatable table football available in the afternoon for all to have a go! Over 8s bring your swim kit for a dip in the pool.

Trampolining

Dates: Tuesdays 6th & 13th. Thursdays 8th & 15th April 2010

On Tuesday and Thursday. Please wear socks and long trousers. Parents of the 3-5years age group must supervise their children at all times.

3-5 years, 9am-9.30am, 9.30am-10am, 10am-10.30am, 10.45am-11.15am, 11.15am-11.45am
6-12years, 9am-9.55am, 9.55am-10.50am, 10.50am-11.45am.

NOTES

1. Booking essential for all activities unless otherwise stated.
2. All activities need to be paid for at time of booking.
3. Children should bring plenty of drink, a packed lunch and where appropriate suncream/block and hat for outdoor activities. When supplying your child with a packed lunch we recommend a cool pack to keep the lunch cool.
4. Refunds cannot be made unless we resell the space. All refunds are subject to a £5 administration fee. No refunds will be made for cancellation less than 72 hours before the start of the activity or course.
5. Parents must accompany under 8s attending trampolining sessions.
6. Where the activity has two prices, the lower price refers to the cost with a valid Advantage Card.
7. When trampolining, please wear tracksuit bottoms and socks.
8. Children require drinks and a packed lunch. Please remember no nuts or nut products.
9. For safety reasons we won't be taking under 8s swimming as part of our planned programme. However, at the end of each day, parents/carers of under 8s are welcome to go for a free swim with their children.
10. Please ensure children wear appropriate clothing suitable for each activity.
11. Please note carefully the age range suitabilities for all activities. We reserve the right to dishonour bookings made for children who are not within the correct age range.
