Patrick had joined the Royal Warwickshire Regiment but there is no information to say where he was wounded. He was sent home and died of his wounds on 12th May 1917 in the Middlesex War Hospital in St. Albans, aged 37. He was buried at Willesden New Cemetery, Row Q, grave 39.
Patrick was the son of Mrs Sarah Daw of Eastern Bristol. It is unclear what his link to Clewer is.
