PRESENT: Councillors Lenton (Chair), Bathurst (substituting for Councillor Brimacombe) Comber, Hilton, McBride (Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead), Bains (Slough), Deegan (Wokingham), Mooney (West Berks) and Worrall (Bracknell Forest), Ian Menzies-Conacher (TVPB), Kamaljit Dhoot (UWL) and Janet Alder (UNISON).

Also Present: Philip Read (Independent Adviser to the Panel).

Apologies for absence were received from Councillor Brimacombe and Keith Abnett.

03/11 MINUTES

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: That the Part I minutes of the meeting of the Panel held on 5 April 2011 be approved.

Members were advised that Heads of Finance for the unitary authorities had been notified of employer contributions following the valuation.

04/11 LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 – EXCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC

RESOLVED: That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting whilst discussion takes place on items 5-11 on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of part I of Schedule 12A of the Act.
