Situated in the heart of the vibrant town of Windsor, The Windsor Guildhall is a stunning private hire venue, ideal for weddings, dinners, event hire and filming opportunities.
This Grade 1 listed historic building provides a unique setting for weddings and civil partnerships. His Majesty King Charles married the Queen Consort, Camilla at the Windsor Guildhall in April 2005 and we are also proud to have hosted the civil partnership ceremony of Elton John and his David Furnish, on the first day the ceremonies became legal in England and Wales.
We believe in celebrating love in all its forms and offer a warm welcome to all couples across the United Kingdom and beyond. Royal Borough residents are eligible for a discount of up to £200 on the room hire fee when they use their Advantage Card.
All our bookings gain exclusive hire of the magnificent Council Chamber, which is an ideal backdrop for ceremonies of all sizes. Flooded with natural daylight, surrounded by royal portraits of the last five centuries and lit by the glittering chandeliers on loan to us from Her Majesty The Queen, the Council Chamber is a stunning room in which to tie the knot or host an event.
We are a popular choice for small, intimate weddings but can also cater for larger wedding parties of up to 100 people. You can also opt to have a drinks reception after your ceremony or you can include dining for your guests too.
Find out more including hire prices, contact details, opening times and venue hire options available on our Weddings and Civil Ceremonies page.
